Our story

Hey👋,

I'm Michael, founder of An Turas®.  That's me putting the Sòlas Flexfit cap through its paces in a bit of Scottish sunrise heat @Brothers Ridge - Glen Shiel.

My back story to starting the company is quite simple; I wear a lot of caps and generally outdoors (and indoors) wearing a cap.

I have had plenty of branded caps, and spent plenty of time procrastinating over them. But there is a recurring theme;  Either I like the style/design/badge but the fit/comfort/performance of the cap is a bit 'meh' OR it's the opposite way around 🙃.

This is where my vision for An Turas was seeded.  Well, 3x seeds;

Seed 1) Design badges that reflect; reflect An Turas, reflect the surroundings. I want my fellow headwear 'enthusiasts' to instantly go "aye, that's a bit of me".

Seed 2) Comfort that adapts; It's got to sit and fit right. Our caps have to handle some serious wear and perform as expected.

Seed 3) Customisation; Pick the badge and select the cap 🤝. Ultimately, An Turas wants to give you choice.

And now here we are, the journey has begun with our Sòlas Flexfit cap.
